I finally found the time that your absolutely amazing manuscript evaluations deserved. I am so beyond pleased with the respect you gave my story! You pointed out inconsistencies that had slipped past me, gave extraordinarily detailed and informative feedback, and even provided further reading and resources in areas where I could be stronger. Your evaluations were very thought out and easy to understand, and you helped me relate to a potential reader who doesn’t happen to have these characters already living in their heads. This helps me restructure events and conversations I had planned for future chapters and evaluate if they would be more beneficial earlier in the story.

I also can’t thank you enough for the advice on seeking out a development editor or a writing buddy that has a knack for description. As you could easily tell, surrounding descriptions aren’t my strong suit. I sit there for hours trying to put my vision of an environment into words and waste half a day describing a couch, haha! I’ve been skipping these necessary parts, and you perfectly outlined how I could overcome this.

I can’t praise this evaluation enough. You perfectly nailed my strengths, weaknesses and even provided solutions to them! You reminded me to step out of my mind, (where every place, character, and event is already fully fleshed) and return to the reader’s mind, who is still gathering all this information only when I provide it.
